Every day she went to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Easton and Allentown this summer, she risked getting COVID-19.

Antoinette Ferkh not only went to the clubs daily, she stayed late for free to keep helping kids.

The 58-year-old Allentown woman works for Computer Aid, a company that helps children bolster their reading skills, math skills and skills in other basic subjects.

Helping disadvantaged children learn is her passion.

“I love working with children,” she said. “I always try to give them courage to believe in themselves.”
