Meet Amira, The Learning Agent for Reading Growth

Amira started decades ago from research out of Carnegie Mellon University and was developed by experts in Science of Reading and AI technology.

What began as a 1:1 tutor has evolved into an AI Learning Agent that helps realize reading proficiency by acting as both an always-available teacher's instructional assistant and a 1:1 interactive learning companion for students.

Amira is designed to work with teacher oversight and direction. As a learning agent, she is a powerful force multiplier, simultaneously playing many roles in the classroom including instructional assistant to the teacher, personal tutor for the student, proctor, planner, coach, analyst and more.

With so much help happening at once, Amira has an immediate impact to reduce the workload on the teacher, scale instructional impact and increase time available for student-teacher connection.
