Reflecting and Recharging: Celebrating Growth and Planning Ahead with Amira and ISIP

Morning Session 1- Amira ISIP & Tutor

8:30 am - 11:30 am

Audience: Leaders and  Teachers

Amira in Action: Celebrating Growth & Sustaining Success with Amira Data:  This comprehensive, 3-hour session helps educators and leaders reflect on reading growth across the year using Amira ISIP. Participants will analyze EOY data, celebrate student progress, and explore how to use Amira’s Growth Dashboard and Tutor feedback to inform instruction, intervention, and summer/next-year planning.

Afternoon Session 2- ISIP Math

12:30 pm - 2:00 pm 

Audience: Leaders and  Teachers

ISIP Math: Finishing Strong: Using EOY ISIP Math Data to Reflect and Refocus:  This 90-minute session will allow educators to dive into end-of-year data to uncover meaningful insights that inform instruction and planning. Teachers will analyze whole-class trends, explore individual student growth patterns, and examine rates of improvement to better understand progress over time. The session will conclude with structured reflection and strategic planning to set priorities and prepare for a strong start next year.

Afternoon Session 3- ISIP Lectura

2:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Audience: Leaders and  Teachers

ISIP Lectura: Closing the Year with Purpose:  In this 90-minute session, educators will reflect on EOY ISIP Lectura data and highlight growth in Spanish reading. Teachers will evaluate instructional practices and identify strategies for transitioning learning into the next school year.

For data use purposes, PED’s Research, Evaluation and Accountability Bureau applies the following business rules for multiple attempts during BOY (Beginning of the year), MOY (Middle of the year), and EOY (End of the year) testing windows.

BOY - first proficiency level (regardless of language)

MOY/EOY - highest proficiency level (regardless of language)

Amira requires devices with at least 4GB of RAM (or 3GB LPDDR4 for iPads) and the current operating system or up to two versions back.

• iPads: Safari
