Since 2017, Amira Learning has partnered with Idaho educators to deliver the Idaho Reading Indicator (IRI) and help identify K–3 students at risk of reading difficulties.

Testing Windows

K–3 Required Testing Windows

  • BOY: October 1–31
  • EOY: May 1–31

Testing windows may vary by LEA; districts are encouraged to assess all students within the same month.

Device and Access Information

Students using Windows, macOS, or ChromeOS devices can access Istation directly through the Chrome browser. For iPad users, the Istation app must be downloaded from the App Store.
