Amira ranked as a top screener for reliability, validity, and effectiveness by the Deal Center for Early Language and Literacy after rigorous evaluation.

Highest-Rated by the Deal Center for Literacy

The Sandra Dunagan Deal Center for Literacy conducted an evaluation of screeners on behalf of the State of Georgia. The research determined that Amira measured more Science of Reading constructs with greater ease of administration and higher levels of usability and support than all other screeners.

Most importantly, Amira rated best for technical adequacy—delivering the most accurate, reliable, valid, and equitable screener compared to any other screener used by Georgia Districts.

Georgia’s Top-Ranked Reading Screener

Insights from the Deal Center & Amira’s CEO

"The main thing that I absolutely love is the amount of practice that the students get. And it's tailored practice for that child. And it's real time. A teacher can't sit down with all of her students at one time and give that tailored practice."
