Why Amira
Amira ranked as the top screener for reliability, validity, and effectiveness by the Deal Center for Early Language and Literacy after rigorous evaluation.

Highest-Rated by the Deal Center for Literacy

The Sandra Dunagan Deal Center for Literacy conducted an evaluation of screeners on behalf of the State of Georgia. The research determined that Amira measured Science of Reading constructs with greater ease of administration and higher levels of usability and support than all other screeners.

Most importantly, Amira rated best for technical adequacy—delivering the most accurate, reliable, and valid screener compared to any other screener used by Georgia districts.
